BMW India start accepting pre bookings for facelifted X3, ahead of its launch on January 20
The BMW X3 facelift will be launched in India on January 20, 2021, with BMW India already starting to accept pre-bookings.
The X3 facelift will have a wider kidney grille, new LED headlights, a redesigned front apron and an aluminium finish on the window surrounds and roof rails, among other improvements. The taillights have been updated and are now leaner and more sculpted, the rear bumper has been reprofiled, and the exhausts are now more noticeable.
There are 2 powertrain options most likely to be available on the X3 facelift. A 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 248PS and 350 Nm, as well as a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine with 188PS and 400 Nm. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and are equipped with all-wheel drive.
The revised BMW X3 features a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster on the interior. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, as well as the latest generation of iDrive linked technologies. The new X3 will also get a 360-degree camera setup and park assist.
Customers who pre-order the new X3 will also receive a set of 20-inch M Sport alloy wheels worth Rs 2 lakh.
The German BMW X3 SUV will compete against the new Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC, new Volvo XC60, Lexus NX, and Land Rover Discovery Sport whenever it is released. Prices for the facelifted BMW X3 are expected to be between the Rs 55 lakh to Rs 70 lakh bracket.
