BMW X4 M40i launched in India, priced at Rs 96.20 lakh

The BMW X4 M40i is now available in India, with pricing beginning at Rs 96.20 lakh. It will be imported in a limited number via the CBU way and offered only through BMW India's online store.

BMW X4 M40i: Design

The BMW X4 M40i Performance SUV differs somewhat from the ordinary X4 model. It features a bigger kidney grille and a single-piece frame rather than the conventional dual grille configuration with a black bar. The front headlights come standard with complete LED technology. The SUV is equipped with 20-inch M light alloy wheels. M Sport badging can be found all over the SUV to distinguish it from the ordinary X4 variant.

BMW X4 M40i: Powertrain

The X4 M40i is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine with 360PS and 500Nm and an eight-speed automated transmission. The xDrive technology is also standard, and the 0-100kmph time is 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250kmph.

BMW X4 M40i: Interior and Features

The X4 M40i's interior is similarly sporty. The dashboard is dominated by a free-standing, central digital display that holds the standard 10.25-inch touch-screen infotainment system. There is also a 12.3-inch touchscreen panel that will most likely be available as an option. New sports seats have been added to the upholstery. It also has automated three-zone temperature control.

Six airbags, Attentiveness Assist, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting, and an integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor are all part of its safety package.
