BMW X7 Signature Edition launched at Rs 1.33 crore
The BMW X7 Signature Edition has been introduced in India for Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition SUV sports cosmetic upgrades over the standard X7 and will be based on the xDrive40i M Sport variant. It will be available in limited numbers and will also be locally produced at the BMW Group's Chennai manufacturing site.
Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue are the 2 exterior colours that will be offered with the X7 Signature Edition. Exterior highlights include satinated aluminium roof rails on the outside and crystal headlights with Swarovski glass-cut crystals. There's a new inner graphic for the LED tail lamps and smoked glass covering the chrome strip that connects them.
The inside has Alcantara comfort seats for the second row of passengers, a crystal door pin system, and an instrument panel finished in individual leather. BMW is providing an ambient air package with approximately 15,000 individual light spots for this new version. To produce a pattern of light, these may be changed using the ambient light option. Highlights of the features include a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, a 14.9-inch touchscreen entertainment system with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and much more.
The same 3.0 litre, six-cylinder, 48-volt mild hybrid engine powers the X7 Signature Edition. With a maximum torque of 381PS and 520Nm of torque, this engine enables the three-row SUV to reach 100kph in 5.8 seconds. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system is coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
