Ducati DesertX Discovery launched at Rs 21.78 lakh
The Ducati DesertX Discovery has been launched in India for Rs 21.78 Lakh(ex-showroom) and is now available at all Ducati dealerships.
The motorcycle is powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine that makes 109.50 PS at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It features a six-speed gearbox with optimised electronic settings and offers electronic rider aids such as ride modes, power modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, a bi-directional quick shifter and cruise control. The motorcycle is designed for long rides with a 21-litre fuel tank.
The DesertX Discovery comes with a steel trellis frame and long-travel suspension and the motorcycle rides on a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel.
The braking duties are handled by Brembo brakes with cornering ABS, with dual 320mm discs at the front with Brembo M50 monobloc radial calipers(four pistons), and a single 265mm disc at the rear with a Brembo dual-piston floating caliper.
The bike features reinforced handguards, an engine guard with water pump protection, a radiator grille and a reinforced sump guard. It also comes with heated grips, a tall windscreen and a center stand.
A noteworthy mention includes turn-by-turn navigation through the Ducati link app and additional features include a protective front bullbar and rugged styling elements.
Ducati has also introduced accessories such as touring windscreen, pillion backrest and a crash guard, further enhancing rider's comfort and safety.
