April 2013 issue is out on stands now
It's that time of the month when our latest issue hits the stands and we fill colour into your automotive landscape. And this month, like before, we have lots of exciting tests, drives, comparisons, rides and features to fuel your need for speed for all of April.
Starting the fast and furious theme is Bert who goes to his first trip to the US to drive the new India-bound Jeep Grand Cherokee. He also takes a spin in one of the fastest SUVs, the SRT badged Cherokee. Shumi is one lucky guy. He drove the new Bentley Continental GT Speed a few months back and last month, the topless version of it, the GT Speed Convertible, dubbed the fastest four-door convertible in the world. Halley, fresh from his Geneva Auto Show rendezvous ( and a quick spin in the Audi S7 there) tests the 911 Carrera 4S in India. He also pitted the Punto 90 against the Vista D90. Both may share the same engine but their characteristics are very different, he says. Rishaad was out investigating to see if the Vista in its 75PS avatar makes more sense than the 90PS one. Our TV producer says every road should be made out of snow. No, he is not doping or something. He is just back from the Audi Ice Drive Experience where he experienced Audi S4 Avants on what else but ice. Our European contributing editor, Ray Hutton drove the new Mercedes E-Class and feels that the 'king is back to reclaim his crown'.
On the quiet side of things, Bert drove the electric Mahindra e2o and comes back highly impressed with the package as a whole, not so much with the price tag though. The Chevrolet Sail is the newest entry in the sedan market. We take all the entry level sedans in India for a comparo to Goa. We have also compared the new Sail U-VA to its hatchback competitors. Speaking of hatchbacks, Maruti has launched the Ritz petrol with an automatic box. We pitch it against the Honda Brio automatic. On the motorcycles front, Shumi puts all the 110cc bikes through a compare to see which one pulls at your purse strings.
We also have the entire dope from the Geneva Auto Show in addition to details of all the launches from India. Plus all the latest information from international and Indian motorsports. We also have a treasure trove of news from the motorcycle world. So what are you waiting for? Go, grab your copy today.
