VINFAST READY TO WIN FAST. SPECIAL FEATURE
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, showcased the most impressive car models; the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with the best booth design, incorporating a pedal activity and 360-degree immersive experience.
VF 6
The VF 6 is an all-electric Premium SUV that houses a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of 400 km. Available in two variants â" 'Eco' and 'Plus', the power outputs differ slightly, while the battery pack remains the same.
The Eco variant delivers a power output of 174 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque while the Plus variant puts out 201 PS and 310, making them impressive figures for the segment they aim at.
Visually the VF 6 looks sharp with a tall hatch attitude that Indian's love in a Premium SUV these days. The front facia looks sleek in the dark grey paint option with a sharp nose, low-lying headlamps and a v-shaped DRL light signature that runs across the bonnet to the sides with the VinFast badge at the center. The blacked-out bumper with a minimal grill hosts the ADAS sensors and the 19-inch wheels also add to the SUV factor of the car. The car also gets a panoramic sunroof, which also adds to the wow factor. The rear tells a similar design story where the extended v-shaped tail lamp signature repeats the feat with two divided tail lamps hosting the red lights and the indicators.
VF 7
The VF 7 is the immediate elder brother to the VF 6 and it appears so too. Powered by a 75.3 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 450 km, this too, comes in two variants: a single motor and a dual motor one named 'Eco' and 'Plus'. This nomenclature is a fresh and simple change and is easy to remember.
The Eco variant produces 201 PS and 310 Nm of peak torque, while the Plus variant delivers 348 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque.
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, we were introduced to the Rising Star Car Model, the VF 7 in bright red paint with a similar design language but with a wider face. The matte bumpers of the VF 6 are replaced with glossy black which interplays well around the headlamp and flows to the side giving the VF 7 a much premium appeal. The 21-inch wheels support the tall stance of the Premium SUV further making an upmarket statement. The side profile of the VF 7 also looks pretty sophisticated with the flush door handles and sharp lines all across to the rear which looks more radical and imposing yet stylish with a similar v-shaped tail lamp signature and divided tail lamps that jut out. The panoramic sunroof also adds to the premium factor accentuated by the sloping roofline and shark fin antenna.
VF 3
The VF 3 also garnered quite the eyeballs at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It is a two-door, four-seater electric hatchback that houses a motor that sends 30 PS of power and 110 Nm of peak torque to the rear wheels. It is capable of 0-50 kmph in just 5.3 seconds and it takes just 36 minutes to charge to 10-70 percent with a fast charger.
VinFast shows promise in the Indian market which appreciates electric vehicles with good design, power and features, all of which VinFast is due to bring to India.
