Hero Mavrick 440 launched in India; prices start at Rs 1.99 lakh
Hero has launched the new Mavrick 440 in India today with prices starting at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). it is available in a choice of three variants: Base, Mid, and Top priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh, and Rs 2.24 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively. Notably, the bookings for the roadster have also opened today, while the customer deliveries will commence on 15 April, 2024. Meanwhile, Hero will offer a Mavrick Kit comprising accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000 for bookings before 15 March, 2024.
Hero Mavrick 440: Colours
The Mavrick 440 Base variant with spoke wheels will be available in an Arctic White shade, whereas the Mid variant will get alloy wheels and will be offered Celestial Blue and Fearless Red colours. On the other hand, the Top variant will be available with machined alloy wheels and will come in two paint jobs, namely Phantom Black and Enigma Black colour options.
Hero Mavrick 440: Features and Specifications
Hero has the Mavrick 440 LCD instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation and call/sms alerts, telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, dual-channel ABS, automatic headlamp, a slipper clutch, all-LED lighting, and a USB charging port. Also on offer is e-sim connectivity with various features. Further, the roadster has a seat height of 803mm and weighs 187kg (191kg with spoke wheels). Meanwhile, Hero has given it MRF's 17-inch radial tyres.
Hero Mavrick 440: Engine
Powering the Mavrick 440 is a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled SOHC engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor makes 27.3PS and 36Nm of torque.
Hero Mavrick 440: Rivals
The Mavrick 440 takes on the Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Currently, the H-D X440 has been priced between Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Then, the Triumph Speed 400 costs Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom), while the RE Classic 350 prices range between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 has been priced at Rs 2.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
