Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition launched, priced at Rs 1.52 lakh

Hero has introduced the highly off-road oriented Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition, with a suggested retail price of Rs. 1,52,100. (ex-showroom). It costs Rs. 16,122 more than the Xpulse 200 4V and Rs. 25,322 more than the Xpulse 200. Beginning on July 29, 2022, interested consumers will be able to reserve the new motorbike online.

The all-new Rally Edition, which is based on the Xpulse 200 4V, has an improved suspension setup and more ground clearance. The model, which was inspired by Hero MotoSports' rally bike, features unique rally code graphics and the autograph of its namesake, "CS Santhosh."

The 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally version are outfitted with dual-purpose tyres. It has a skid plate made of aluminium that shields the engine from dangerous terrain and rocks. It has an upswept exhaust and a toothed brake pedal for the best grip possible. The motorbike weighs 160 kilograms at the curb.

The motorbike has a 10-step completely adjustable rear suspension with 220 mm of travel, as well as a higher, fully adjustable front suspension with 250 mm of travel. This enables the user to precisely adjust the suspension to the surface and riding preferences.

The Rally Edition has improved riding dynamics thanks to its 885 mm seat height, 40 mm handlebar risers, 270 mm more ground clearance, 1426 mm wheelbase, and 116 mm longer trail. 160 kg are the kerb weights.

The 200cc 4-valve oil-cooled engine that powers the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition produces a maximum output of 19PS at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. A 7-fin oil cooler is included with the cooling system for improved heat control.

Both the headlight and taillight on the new motorbike are LEDs. It has a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and call notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, a gear indicator, Eco Mode, two trip meters, and a single channel ABS system.
