Hindustan Petroleum team up with Chevron to launch Caltex Lubricants
HPCL and Chevron Brands International LLC (Chevron), a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, have entered into a long-term agreement for the licensing, production, distribution, and marketing of Chevron's lubricant products in India under the Caltex brand. These include Chevron's proprietary Havoline and Delo branded lubricant products.
Chevron is the second-biggest oil and gas corporation, with goods marketed in more than 150 countries. Chevron is a global marketer of finished lubricants, operating 10 factories and 25 blending units worldwide.
Caltex is a brand in the Chevron family. Caltex's global recognition and cutting-edge technological performance distinguish it as one of the world's leading oil and gas brands, giving value to the businesses that sell its products.
HPCL's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Silvassa spread over 17.5 acres, will produce the premium line of Caltex lubricants. HPCL's dedication to scientific innovation and environmental sustainability is exemplified by this cutting-edge plant. The factory is ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 compliant and has a capacity of 75 TKLPA for lubricating oil production.
Chevron marked its arrival in India by transforming Mumbai's vast, historic 'Gateway of India' monument into a canvas of dazzling graphics at the launch ceremony. The magnificent visual projection transformed the historic monument into a homage to the country's present landscape while remaining anchored in cultural influence.
