HM organises Pajero Sport event in Hyderabad
Obstacles like ruts, rumblers, slush, side inclines, steep ascents and dangerous descents were aplenty at the recently held 'Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Heart-in-Mouth' event held at the GMR Off-track Road Rental. The event took place on Sunday, July 28. Over 30 owners of the Pajero Sport from Hyderabad and nearby towns tested their driving skills and tackled obstacles across the 3km track.

The event was structured by Hindustan Motors Ltd., which manufactures and markets Mitsubishi vehicles, in India. This event had more than 30 Pajeros participating in it to out-do the treacherous track.
The event, which was flagged off by Mr. P. Vijayan, Chief Operating Officer & Strategic Business Unit Head of Hindustan Motors' Chennai car plant, gave drivers and their families a chance to experience something unique. Both experienced and inexperienced drivers were witness to what off-roading can be like.
The participants got an opportunity to see the Pajero Sport's Anniversary Edition. A free check-up of the participating vehicles was also organised.

The Pajero Sport is currently the only Mitsubishi vehicle assembled in India. The Montero is a CBU import and the rest of the Mitsubishi line-up has been discontinued recently. While most SUV owners seldom venture off the tarmac, events like this serve to introduce to owners to just how capable their vehicles are off-road. Drivers walk away with a renewed confidence in their vehicles, and some may well get hooked to the off-road kick and cement their loyalty to the SUV format and the manufacturer.
