Honda CB200X & Hornet 2.0 now available at BigWing showrooms

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), a subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, has moved sales of the Honda CB200X and Hornet 2.0 to its premium dealerships, known as Honda BigWing. Honda BigWing is home to various high-end motorcycles, such as the Hness CB350, CB350 RS, CB350, CB300R, CB300F, NX500, XL750 Transalp, CRF100L Africa Twin, and Gold Wing.

Honda CB200X: Highlights

The CB200X is available in three colours, Pearl Nightstar Black, Sports Red, and the new Decent Blue Metallic at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It comes powered by a 184.40cc, single-cylinder engine producing 17.26PS at 8,500rpm and 15.9Nm of peak torque at 6,000rp. This motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

Honda has given it a slip-and-assist clutch, all-LED lighting, a fully digital console, a hazard switch, upside down front forks, a rear monoshock, single-channel ABS, a 276mm front disc brake, a 220mm rear disc brake, and a pair of 17-inch wheels. The CB200X has a seat height of 810mm, while the ground clearance is 167mm. It weighs 147kg.

Honda Hornet 2.0: Highlights

The Hornet 2.0 has been priced at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and comes in four colour options: Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

The roadster boasts all-LED lighting, fully digital console, a slip-and-assist clutch, upside down front forks, a rear mono-shock, and single discs at both ends. However, the cluster still does not offer Bluetooth connectivity, which is a common modern feature in most two-wheelers, including its competitors.

Powering the Hornet 2.0 is a 184.40cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 17.26PS and a peak torque of 15.9Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. It competes against the TVS Apache 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
