Honda commences NX500 deliveries in India
Honda has started customer deliveries of the NX500 in India after introducing the middleweight adventure tourer in January 2024. Priced at Rs 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is available in a choice of three colour options: Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Grand Prix Red, and Pearl Horizon White.
Honda NX500: Features and Specifications
The NX500 gets a five-inch colour display with Bluetooth connectivity. It shows turn-by-turn navigation and lets the rider manage calls and music. Plus, Honda offers traction control, emergancy stop signal, dual-channel ABS, a slip-and-assist clutch, all-LED lighting, backlight switches, Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork Big Piston) upside down front forks, a five-step pre-load adjustable rear monoshock, 296mm dual front discs, and a 240mm single disc, a 110/80R 19 section front tyre, and 160/60R 17 rear tyre.
The wheels make the NX500 3kg lither than its predecessor and now it weighs 196kg. Further, the motorcycle has a seat height of 830mm with 181mm of ground clearance. Whereas, the fuel tank capacity stands at 17.5-litres.

The Honda NX500 differentiates itself from the previous model with a fresh styling. Honda has given it a new fascia with a vertically stacked headlight and daytime running lights, a tall windscreen, a new taillamp, angular fairing with sharp cuts, and a scooped-out single piece seat.
Honda NX500: Engine
Powering the Honda NX500 a 471cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 47.5PS at 8,600rpm and 43Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It features a six-speed gearbox.
Honda NX500: Competition
The NX500 competes against the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Benelli TRK 502, pried at Rs 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 5.85 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
