Honda Elevate launch set for September 4
Honda Cars India has stated that the Elevate SUV's pricing would be released on September 4, 2023. The Elevate is Honda's entry into the rapidly expanding midsize SUV market, which also includes the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Grand Vitara. The SUV will be offered in four variants, each with seven single-tone and three dual-tone colour options.
Honda Elevate Variants and Colours
The Honda Elevate will come with a choice of four variants, starting from SV, V, VX, and top-of-the-line ZX. While the manual gearbox will be available across the board, the automatic transmission option will be offered from the V variant onwards. As a result, there will be overall seven variants, including manual and automatic.
In terms of colour options, Honda will offer Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl. Notably, Honda has reserved the bright Phoenix Orange Pearl shade for the VX and ZX. The three dual-tone paint jobs are available with only the top-spec ZX trim.
Honda Elevate Dimension and Powertrains
The Honda Elevate has a length of 4,312mm, a width of 1,790mm, a height of 1,650mm, and a wheelbase of 2,650mm. In addition, the Elevate has a segment-leading 220mm ground clearance.
Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. It produces 121PS and 145Nm of torque. In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual Elevate claims 15.31 kmpl, while the CVT claims 16.92 kmpl. Expect the real-world values to differ significantly.
Honda Elevate Interior and Features
Honda has given it a new 10.25-inch touchscreen system, a seven-inch display with an analogue cluster, an electric sunroof, a lane watch camera, connected car tech with smartwatch connectivity, Alexa assistant support, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVM, leatherette upholstery, six speakers, wireless charging pad, LED headlights and fog lamps, ESC, six airbags, up to six airbags, and electronic stability control (ESC). The Elevate also features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
