Hyundai Creta EV spied testing again
The test mule of the Hyundai Creta EV has been once again spied testing in the public. This time, the spy pictures of the electric SUV give a glimpse of its interior, revealing a few details.
Hyundai Creta EV: Design & interior
In terms of design, the upcoming Creta EV is likely to carry over a design similar to the on-sale Creta. But it could feature different design elements to stand out in the crowd, such as redesigned and closed-off grille, new front and rear bumpers, and aerodynamically optimised new wheels.
If the spy shots are to go by, the electric version of the Creta is expected to retain the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift. However, the production-spec model might come with a distinctive layout. Irrespective of the design, there is likely to be a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup comprising a touchscreen infotainment system and an all-digital instrument cluster. Hyundai may offer a new gear selector and a new steering wheel. Other features could include a Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, ADAS, air purifier, connected car tech, telematics, ventilated and powered front seats, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, wireless phone charging pad, and fast-charging USB Type-C ports, among others.
Hyundai Creta EV: Range, battery, & charging
Although the specifications of the electric powertrain are not available at the moment, we expect the Creta EV to get a battery pack capacity of 60-90kWh with a range of up 550km. It could also have DC charging capability of around 80-100kW and 11kW AC charging capacity. Since its other premium EVs come equipped with V2V and V2L, the Creta EV might also come with these features.
