Hyundai Verna gets new rear spoiler & fresh colour

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced a new rear spoiler and a fresh Amazon Grey paint job for the Verna. The prices of the sedan range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 17.48 lah (ex-showroom). Launched in late 2023, the new generation Verna comes in EX, S, SX, and SX (O) variants.

Hyundai Verna: Engine specifications

Powering the Verna are two distinct petrol engines: a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor and a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit. The former produces 115PS and 144Nm of torque, while the latter delivers 160PS and 253Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a CVT automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Hyundai Verna: Colours

The automaker has given it a new Amazon Grey colour, while the existing shades are Titan Grey, Tellurian Brown, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Abyss Black, and Starry Night. There are two dual-tone paint schemes options on offer.

The Verna comes equipped with ventilated and heated seats, 64 colour ambient lighting, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, six airbags, ESC, electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill hold assist, front parking sensors, TPMS, all-wheel discs, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument panel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, wireless charging pad, powered driver's seat, rear window curtains, connected car tech, telematics, and electric sunroof, among others.

Hyundai also offers it with several ADAS functions, namely Front collision warning and avoidance assist blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, leading vehicle departure assist, rear-cross traffic collision warning and assistance, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, and lane follow assist.
