The Audi S5 Sportback is a middleweight of sorts in the playing field. It gets a 3.0-litre V6 which makes 333PS and 440Nm. Mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission, the S5 Sportback has a claimed 0-100kmph time of 5.1s. Audi has tried to make this engine as frugal as possible and claims an efficiency figure of 12.28kmpl from the S5. This car also gets Audi's four-wheel drive Quattro system, which helps in the handling department (See our 2015 Audi S5 Sportback first drive review).
To differentiate it from the A5, the S5 gets a new platinum-finish front grille bearing the S5 badge while the rear gets a lip spoiler and quad-exhaust tips. The car also gets skirting all around, 'V6 T' badges on the front fenders and platinum-finish ORVMs.
