Triumph Street Triple RS has been unveiled internationally. The motorcycle gets cosmetic updates. Given its segment-wise position in the Indian market, the 2020 Street Triple RS will duel against motorcycles like the KTM 790 Duke, that was recently launched in the country, and Ducati Monster 821, as also Japanese machines like the Kawasaki Z900 and Suzuki GSX-S750.

Thanks to the angular LED DRLs, the motorcycle appears to have an angry fascia
The pillion seat can be swapped for a cowl to enhance the looks as well as ergonomics
The instrument cluster integrates more functions such as turn-by-turn navigation, Music and phone operation, and GoPro compatibility
The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS gets the Euro 5 compliant, 765cc, three-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox
The engine produces higher peak torque earlier in the rev range - 79Nm of torque at 9,350rpm as opposed to 77Nm of torque at 10,800rpm of the current motorcycle
The power rating stays the same - 123PS produced at 11,750rpm., however, the peak power is produced 50 revs later in the rev band
The motorcycle also gets five riding modes - Road, rain, sport, track and rider configurable. Other electronics include two-way quick shifter, traction control and ABS (Antilock Braking System)
The cycle parts include Brembo's M50 radially mounted callipers, Ohlins fully adjustable suspension on both ends and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres
