Hero MotoCorp launched the Maestro Edge priced at an ex-Delhi price of Rs 49,500 for the LX trim and Rs 50,700 for the top end VX variant. The Maestro Edge will not replace the existing Maestro as of now, and it costs around Rs 1,000 more than the current model. At this price, the Maestro Edge will take on competition from the 110cc TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 3G. In addition to the cosmetic changes on the Maestro Edge, the scooter also gets a new 110.9cc engine that is capable of 8.4PS and 8.3Nm of torque. In comparison to the older Maestro scooter, this new engine displaces 1.9cc more and puts out an additional .2PS while losing out on almost 1Nm of torque.
