Triumph had a very busy year at Intermot this year. Among the motorcycles they unveiled was this - the T100. Essentially a Street Twin that has been given the T120 treatment, the T100 is set to take over as the entry level offering in the Bonneville range which will now constitute the T100 and T120. Also unveiled was the T100 Black, which is essentially the same motorcycle but with blacked out bits. The T100 uses the same engine as the Street Twin, so it gets ride-by-wire and traction control. The motorcycle also gets ABS and updated geometry that is said to make it more fun to ride. Expect it to hit Indian markets by end of this year or early next.
The T100 is the smaller brother of the T120 and takes forward the classis, retro styling of the Bonnevilles
Just like the T120, the T100 too is available in the Black variant with blacked out body bits
Classic styling includes lots of chrome and those retro, twin pod dials
The engine is 900cc parallel twin motor that Triumph calls the 900HT
The Classsic British styling stays true in the design of the exhausts too
The Bonneville name is now being used only with the T100 and the T120
The T100 doesn't get the LED DRLs that the T120 gets
The T100 gets classic twin-pod clocks with analog readouts for road and engine speed
The styling hasn't changed from the classic Bonneville lines and still gets the engine fins, faux-carburettor, triangular engine case and tank pads
