In pictures: 2024 JLR Range Rover Velar facelift
JLR recently introduced the 2024 Range Rover Velar in India. It is available in two engine options with a single trim: a Dynamic HSE diesel at Rs 94.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and a Dynamic HSE petrol : 94.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the Velar is a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine generating 250PS and 365Nm and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel motor that makes 204PS and 420Nm. Both engines come mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The petrol version can reach 100kmph from a standstill in 7.5 seconds and provides a top speed of 217kmph, on the other hand, the diesel trim takes 8.3 seconds to hit 100kmph and tops out at 210kmph.
