In pictures: Lotus Eletre EV
British marque Lotus made its debut in India today and introduced the Eletre EV. This electric SUV is now available in three trims: standard, S, and R, priced at Rs 2.55 crore, Rs 2.75 crore, and Rs 2.99 crore (all ex-showroom). It is to be noted that the Emira, a popular sports car from the firm, will arrive in the country sometime in March next year.
Powering the all-electric Eletre is a 109kWh battery pack. Its dual electric motor setup produces 612PS and 710Nm of torque in the standard and S trim levels, while the range-topping R trim generates 918PS and 985Nm. The S has a range of 600km on a single charge, while the R offers a driving range of 490km. With this, the top-rung Eletre can reach 100kmph in just 2.9 seconds and provides a top speed of 265kmph.
