India's first-ever Ferrari Purosangue handed over to Bangalore-based entrepreneur
A Bangalore-based businessperson has purchased India's first-ever Ferrari Purosangue, the high-performance SUV introduced in 2022. The unique model features a Nero Daytona paint job.
Ferrari Purosangue: Design and Interior
The Purosangue boasts a distinctive design with a low-slung, broad stance, in contrast to the upright posture of the Lamborghini Urus. Notable features include split headlights reminiscent of the SF90 Stradale, air dam, and a full-width grille. The SUV combines aerodynamic elements, such as air curtains, a rear diffuser, and a roof-mounted spoiler for enhanced performance.
The SUV utilises a brand-new aluminum chassis and incorporates advanced features like active dampers with Multimatic's True Active Spool Valve, an independent four-wheel steering system, and the 296 GTB's ABS "Evo" with a six-way chassis dynamic sensor (6w-CDS).
Inside, the Purosangue features a dual-cockpit configuration with a basic yet elegant dashboard and centre console. It stands out with a sizable driver display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the co-passenger. The unique seating arrangement includes four bucket seats.
Ferrari Purosangue: The Heart
The crux of the Purosangue lies in its 6.5-litre V12 engine that generates 725PS and 715Nm of torque. It can hit the 100kmph mark from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds and provides a top speed of 310kmph. It features a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission mounted on the back axle and an all-wheel-drive system with a weight distribution of 49:51.
