Jeep Meridian facelift launched at Rs 24.99 lakh

The Meridian facelift from Jeep is now available in India for an exclusive starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Unlike the pre-facelift model, the Meridian will now be as offered as a 5-seater as well but only on the base variant. The remaining variants will be strictly be sold in a 7-seat configuration.

Jeep Meridian Longitude Plus: Rs 27.5 lakh

Jeep Meridian Limited (O): Rs 30.49 lakh

Jeep Meridian facelift: Exterior & Interior

The Meridian has been redesigned with minor aesthetic adjustments. There is still the recognizable 7-slot grille. LED taillights with satin chrome accents are located on the back, while LED headlights with dynamic indications are on each side. The 18-inch alloy wheels are reminiscent of the pre-facelift model's Overland Edition.

More than 70 active and passive safety features, including over ten advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including blind spot detection, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control, are included in the Meridian.

On the inside, the dashboard gets a new suede finish with copper stitching and the seats get a new beige upholstery. The Jeep Meridian boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats with ventilation, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, and a powered tailgate. It also features connected car technology with the ability to start and pre-cool the vehicle.

Jeep Meridian facelift: Powertrain

The 2.0-litre diesel engine that powers the revised Meridian is still coupled to a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic torque converter unit. Power and torque out remain the same at 170PS and 350Nm. Additionally, both 4x2 and 4x4 versions are still available.
