The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja draws power from a 1,099 cc, in-line, four-cylinder, liquid cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine puts a whopping 136 PS at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 7,600 rpm, which makes for quite the exciting top end. And all that power is experienced on a machine that weighs just 238 kg. That is some manic power-to-weight ratio. If compared to the Ninja 1000SX, this one makes 6 PS less power and 2 Nm more torque.
The suspension duties are done by 41 mm USD fork with preload adjustability and the rear section gets a gas charged monoschock unit. Braking duties are done by 300 mm twin rotors for the front wheel and 260 mm single rotor at the rear. It has a ground clearance of 135 mm, 19-litre fuel tank, 820 mm seat height and runs on 17-inch alloys.
The electronic nannies include riding modes, power modes, traction control, bi-directional quick shifter, and cruise control to name a few. At Rs 13.49 lakh the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX rivals the like of the Suzuki Katana, BMW F 900 GS, and Triumph Tiger 900 GT to name a few.
