Kia Niro Concept to be unveiled at Frankfurt
Kia has designed a hot hatch to showcase at Frankfurt motor show. The crossover concept will get a Kia 'world stage' at the 65th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) at next month's auto show. A release from the Korean brand states the concept "hints at a possible future B-segment (city car) contender ready to take on the urban environment", and that the concept will be "used to gauge potential customer response for future showroom models".

The Niro is painted in black with neon yellow and stainless steel accents. It has a lifted stance. The neon yellow touches cover the grille surround, the tow hooks, the wheel hubs and the tyre threads. The headlight and taillight assembly gets a somewhat three-dimensional look. LEDs on the headlamps look cubical. The car also gets attractive gull-wing doors.
The interiors contain a one-piece moulding of the central console and seats
On the inside, the one-piece upholstery covers the central console, cylindrical pillars connecting the tunnel console to the dashboard, paddle shifters and a huge TFT-screen, as a part of the infotainment system, in the center of the dashboard.
