Kia Seltos, Sonet gets new variants & new colour
Kia India has updated the Seltos and Sonet with new variants, including a new paint job for the top-of-the-line X-Line variant. There is a new GTX variant for the SUVs. For the Sonet, the new GTX variant sits between HTX+ and GTX+ at a starting price of Rs 13,70,900 (ex-showroom), while the new Seltos GTX variants have been positioned between the HTX+ and GTX+(S) and cost Rs 18,89,900 (ex-showroom). Not only that, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine is now available with the base HTK variant paired with an iMT gearbox at Rs 9,59,900 (ex-showroom).
Apart from that, the brand has also updated the existing variants. The Seltos GTX+ now boasts a solar glass and white brake callipers in front and rear. Additionally, the X-line gets a new Aurora Black Pearl colour with an all-black glossy theme. This shade is availbale alongside the current Matt Graphite paint job.

Over the HTX variant, the Seltos GTX comes with a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, 360deg camera with blind spot monitor, LED headlights with DRLs, LED rear lights with a light bar, LED fog lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, an armrest, a 10.25-inch 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, dual-zone temperature control, tilt and telscopic steering wheel, cruise control, connected car features, six airbags, electric parking brake with auto hold, four-wheel brakes, and TPMS.
The Seltos GTX gets a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel unit with 116PS and 250Nm. Transmission options include a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and a six-speed automatic torque converter. Both variants cost the same Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia has equipped the Sonet GTX with a variety of features, such as a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, six speakers, LED headlights with follow me home function, daytime driving light, LED fog lamps, 360deg camera with blind spot monitor, 16-inch alloy wheels, lathered seats, height adjustable driver seat, four-wheel discs, TPMS, front ventilated seats, powered driver's seat, cruise control, air purifier, connected car features, front and rear parking sensors, and more.
The Sonet GTX can be had in two engine options: a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 120PS and 172Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, diesel motor with 116PS and 250Nm. While the former is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the latter comes paired with a six-speed automatic torque converter.
