Kia Seltos X-Line teased ahead of India launch

Kia Seltos X-Line exterior changes
The Kia Seltos X-Line should come with numerous dark and SUV-themed changes over the standard Seltos. If the show car is anything to go by expect to see a matte grey paint job, a brushed chrome grille, gloss black and orange highlights on the bumpers, ornamental bonnet scoops, chunkier side skirts and grey-painted alloy wheels.
Kia Seltos X-Line interiors, features
The interiors of the Seltos X-Line haven't been seen yet but it is expected to feature an all-black cabin with more gloss black highlights. The seat upholstery should also be black while orange accents and the X-badges from the outside may also be seen. Expect the X-Line to be based on the top GT-Line and come with a very similar set of features. Highlights should be a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, connected car tech, climate control, sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, head-up display, a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitor, and wireless charging. There should be up to 6 airbags on offer.
Kia Seltos X-Line engines, specifications
The Seltos X-Line will most likey remain mechanically unchanged from the standard Kia Seltos. Engine options should mimic those available with the GT-Line trim. So expect the 1.4-litre turbo-petro with 140PS and 242 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DCT or six-speed manual. The 1.5-litre diesel should also make an appearance with a six-speed torque converter and putting out 115PS and 250 Nm.

The Kia Seltos X-Line should launch in India in the next few weeks. Expect it to be priced Rs 50,000 to 60,000 more than the equivalent GT Line prices. Prices for the Kia Seltos GT Line start from Rs 16.65 lakh the petrol manual and go up to Rs 17.85 lakh for the diesel auto.
