Kia Sonet, Seltos & Carens Gravity trim launched in India
To commemorate its fifth year of operations, Kia India has unveiled a unique 'Gravity' edition of the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. In comparison to the variant that these respective cars are based on, the Gravity Edition versions of all models receive a few visual upgrades and feature improvements.
Kia Sonet Gravity Edition
Based on the HTK+ variant, the Sonet Gravity Edition comes with all three of the available engines that include the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. Note, that the Gravity trims are only available with MT transmissions. Prices start from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
Upgrades come in the form of a leather gear knob, spoiler, R16 alloy wheels and Indigo Pera seats with navy stitching, as part of the Gravity package. To top it off, the Gravity Emblem completes the package along with a wireless phone charger, dash cam, front door armrest, 60:40 split seats, rear headrests that can be adjusted, and a rear centre armrest with cup holders. Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl, and Matte Graphite are the available colours.
Kia Seltos Gravity Edition
The Seltos Gravity Edition, which is based on the mid-spec HTX trim can be had with the 1.5-liter NA petrol engine with either a manual or a CVT or with the 1.5-liter diesel with a manual transmission. Prices start from Rs 16.63 lakh to Rs 18.21 lakh (ex-showroom)
A 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, heated front seats, a Bose sound system, an automatic parking brake with auto hold, 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and a Gravity logo are just a few of the many goodies that come standard with the new Seltos Gravity. Additionally, this updated version comes in 2 colour shades: Aurora Black Pearl, and Glacier White Pearl.
Kia Carens Gravity
The Carens Gravity Edition is based on the lower spec Premium (O) variant and is offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a manual gearbox, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with the iMT gearbox and the 1.5-litre diesel unit paired with a manual gearbox. Prices start from Rs 12.10 lakh to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
A dash camera, sunroof, faux black leather seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, leatherette door centres and armrests, LED reading lamps, and Gravity emblems are among the features that are added on top of the Premium (O) features already onboard.
