Kinetic Green teases new E-Luna; bookings to open on Republic Day
Kinetic Green has finally announced that it will bring back the iconic Luna in an all-new all-electric form. The brand is readying the new E-Luna for a launch in February 2024. In fact, the bookings for the E-Luna will commence on the forthcoming Republic Day on 26 January, 2024. Customers will be able to reserve their E-Luna via the official Kinetic Green website for a token amount of Rs 500.
Kinetic E-Luna: Design
If the teaser picture is to go by, the E-Lune is likely to keep the familiar styling of the original Luna with a few modern touches. The teaser image offers a glimpse of its a round headlamp, halogen indicators, a small visor, and protective guards. We expect it to feature a digital display, telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers, wore-spoke wheels, and drum brakes at the front and rear.
Kinetic E-Luna: Electric powertrain
In terms of range and battery pack, Kinetic Green's new E-Luna is expected to offer a range of 50-70km with around 2kWh battery pack. The EV could provide a top speed of up to 30-40kmph. With this, expect the E-Lune to cost Rs 70,000-90,000.
