Lamborghini India complete the sale of 400 cars, clocking an 86 percent growth in sales
Since its full corporate functioning in 2007, Lamborghini India has delivered 400 Lamborghinis across India, adding to the 86 percent increase seen in India last year.
With stores in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, the Italian brand has outperformed its rivals in the ultra-luxury market, such as Porsche and Ferrari. To commemorate this milestone and demonstrate its leading position in the super-luxury automobile sector, Lamborghini India crafted its third edition of 'Lamborghini Day,' in Goa, a unique customised lifestyle experience for its clients in the country.
Last year, Lamborghini had hit the sales milestone of 300 super luxury cars in India. A third of those 300 cars sold were the Urus SUV. The company is likely to launch the facelift version of the Lamborghini Urus SUV later this year. Besides the Urus, they also sell its sports car, the Lamborghini Huracan in India. It is available in Huracan EVO, Huracan STO and Huracan EVO RWD Spyder models.
Commenting on this occasion, Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India said, "We are pleased to announce the achievement of 400 Lamborghini in India and mark the Lamborghini Day experience with this milestone achievement along with our customers who have supported us in this journey. We will continue to offer unique platforms that our existing and prospective customers are able to experience the values that define the Lamborghini brand in India."
In terms of sales and profit, Lamborghini had its greatest year ever in 2021. With 8,405 cars shipped throughout the world, the ultra-luxury manufacturer announced an all-time high turnover of 1.95 billion euros, a 19 percent increase over 2020.
