Lexus India introduces new 8 year/1,60,000 km warranty from June 2024
Lexus India has announced that it has increased the warranty of all its vehicles sold from June 1, 2024 onwards. The new warranty is now valid for 8 years or 1,60,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) up from 3 years/1,00,000 kilometres. Lexus currently offers the NX, RX and LX in their Indian SUV portfolio. Cars like the ES and LM are also offered in the sedan and MPV segment.
Commenting on the announcement, Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India said "The new vehicle warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 km reinforces our commitment of superior quality, durability, and reliability in every Lexus vehicle and signifies advancement in offering unmatched warranty and providing absolute peace of mind to our esteemed guests. They can now experience outstanding luxury and performance of their Lexus."
In addition to extended warranties, Lexus will provide personalized solutions that include financing, servicing choices, insurance, and roadside assistance. These comprehensive products are intended to improve the complete ownership experience, demonstrating Lexus' endeavour for its loyal clients countrywide.
Lexus was launched in India in 2017 and has enjoyed quite a bit of success ever since it entered. The 2023-2024 financial year was their most successful with a 63 percent growth in YoY sales.
