Mahindra Xylo D2 MAXX 9 seater launched in India at Rs 7.12 lakh
Mahindra is on a festive season launch spree. After launching the updated XUV500 and the Scorpio special edition, the SUV maker has now come out with the Xylo D2 MAXX 9-seater BS3 variant at Rs 7.12 lakh, ex-Mumbai. This new variant of the Xylo is aimed at the taxi segment and comes with a 95PS 2.5-litre mDI CRDe engine which claims a fuel efficiency of 14.95kmpl. The last row of seats in the boot are side facing. Mahindra says that the facing seats are a preferred option by taxi operators as it increases the flexibility of either carrying additional passengers or luggage.
Giving a distinct look to the D2 MAXX are a new grille and black bumper as also wheel arches. This variant of the Xylo will compete with the Tavera and Sumo Grande.
