On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Maruti Suzuki has announced the Black Edition versions of its Arena line-up. As a part of this, all the Arena models, from the S-Presso to Brezza, have received a new Pearl Midnight Black paint scheme. While Black Edition versions of the Swift, Ertiga, and Brezza have started arriving at various dealerships across India, here we tell you everything you need to know about the Brezza Black Edition.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Black Edition: Exterior and Interior
The Black Edition colour treatment is said to be available only for the high-spec variants of the Arena cars. In this case, the higher-spec Brezza Black Edition spotted at a dealership appears to be a ZXi variant. It is painted in a Pearl Midnight Black shade. Additionally, it features gloss black alloy wheels. However, it misses out on all-black design elements for the grille, skid plates, model designations, and roof rails. These parts carry the same colour treatment as the regular Brezza. On the inside, it has the same dual-tone Black/Brown interior as the regular Brezza instead of an all-black theme.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Black Edition: Features
The Brezza Black Edition, in its ZXi variant, gets an electric sunroof, a seven-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, Arkamys sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear wiper with washer, sunglasses holder with a map lamp, rear armrest with cup holders, in-built voice assistant, four speakers and two tweeters, analogue cluster with MIN in colour TFT display, reverse camera, OTA (software over-the-air) updates, 60:40 split folding rear seats, engine start/stop switch, dual-LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, and roof rails, among others.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Black Edition: Powertrain
The Brezza Black Edition is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre inline-four cylinder petrol producing 101PS and 137Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the Brezza CNG makes 88PS and 121.5Nm of torque. In the CNG version, the SUV is paired with only a five-speed manual.
