Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG to get additional new variants
Maruti Suzuki will expand the Ertiga CNG lineup with additional models. According to a recent leak, the MPV will receive three new variations, one of which will be aimed at fleet operators.
The Ertiga CNG is now available in three trim levels: VXI, ZXI, and Tour M. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga might soon be available in two new variants: VXI (O) CNG and ZXI (O) CNG, according to a leaked document.
The new variants will sit atop the old ones, and they may have more features and equipment. Maruti Suzuki may also include safety elements like front-seat side airbags and a rear parking camera that are only available in the non-CNG version of the car.
Some of the premium features might be available as an option with the new (O) Ertiga CNG versions. Leather-wrapped steering wheel with metallic teak wood finish, key-operated retractable ORVMs, cruise control, auto headlights with follow me home feature, and a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system are just a few of the options.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is equipped with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 102PS and 136 Nm of torque. The CNG version, on the other hand, generates 87PS and 121 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is normal, whereas a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission is only available with petrol engines.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga range starts from Rs 8.35 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
