It has not been a secret that Maruti Suzuki will join the EV space very soon. The eVX has been showcased multiple times at numerous Auto Shows and events and the car has also been spotted testing on roads. In this new set of spy shots, the car appears to be fully production-ready and the launch could happen in the first few months of 2025.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Design

The headlights and taillights that will be included in the launch-spec car are clearly visible here. It starts with a two-piece LED DRL arrangement for the headlights, which have a straight line at the top and an inverted L-shaped design at the bottom.

An LED stripe that spans the width of the tailgate connects the slanting LED taillights. The test mules that were previously spotted have a similar side appearance, with a flattish roofline, round wheel arches, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The rear door handles on the C-pillar, the shark-fin antenna, and the spoiler on the roof are other striking features.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Powertrain

The eVX electric SUV is expected to get a 40-60kWh battery pack with a range of up to 500 km. It is likely to be powered by a single-motor setup, but there might also be a dual-motor version. This EV could support up to 11kW AC home charging and up to 80-100kW DC fast charging. Moreover, it is likely to offer advanced features, such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capability.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Interior and Features

We can expect plenty of features from the upcoming EV. As seen in the earlier spy pictures, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX will feature a fresh and distinctive cabin layout, which sets it apart from its on-sale siblings. For starters, it will get a new two-spoke steering wheel, a semi-floating centre console with physical switches, a wireless charging pad, a rotary dial (perhaps acting as a gear or mode selector); a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, vertical air-con vents below the infotainment system, a front arm-rest adjoined to the centre console, and dual-tone seat upholstery.

In terms of features, the eVX could be the first Maruti Suzuki to offer some new features, such as a powered front or driver seat, dual-zone temperature control, and more. Other features may include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, heads-up display, telematics, and connected car tech, among others. Maruti is also likely to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
