Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced warranty extension for across its line-up. As a part of this, all vehicles will offer a standard warranty of three-year/1,00,000km (whichever is earlier). This will be applicable to the cars delivered on 9 July, 2024 onwards. The previous standard warranty was valid for two years or 40,000km.

The extended three-year/1,00,000km standard warranty will provide coverage for the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical systems, and air conditioning parts. However, the warranty will exclude consumables. Customers will be able to avail free repairs under the warranty at any Maruti Suzuki service centre across the country.

Further, the brand has also expanded the optional extended warranty packages and has introduced extended warranty of up to six-year or 1,60,000km (whichever is earlier).

There are three optional packages on offer: Platinum Package with an extended warranty up to 4th year/1,20,000km, Royal Platinum Package with an extended warranty up to 5th year/1,40,000km, and Solitaire Package with an extended warranty up to 6th year/1,60,000km. Not to mention, Maruti Suzuki's extended warranty programme now covers 11 high-value parts, which were previously covered only under the standard warranty.
