Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition launched across all variants at Rs 7.29 lakh
Maruti Suzuki India has re-launched the Fronx Velocity edition with a starting price of Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The Velocity Editon of the popular crossover is now extended to all 14 variants.
Maruti is offering an aesthetic style kit in red and grey for the Fronx Velocity edition. The car will also receive a door visor, front bumper painted garnish in black and red, headlight garnish, red dash designer mat, NexCross Bordeaux finish sleeve seat cover, 3D boot mat, wheel arch garnish, and front grille garnish in Opulent Red colour.
The Fronx Velocity Editon continues to be powered by the 100PS/148Nm 1-litre Boosterjet engine with mild-hybrid tech. There is also the 90PS/113Nm 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated petrol engine will also be available with the Fronx. The standard transmission is a five-speed manual, with automatic choices including a five-speed AMT with the NA petrol and a six-speed torque converter with the turbo-petrol. The inside of the Fronx is quite similar to that of the Baleno hatchback, with the major attraction being a big free-standing 9-inch touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automated climate control, a wireless phone charger, a colourful multi-info display, cruise control, and keyless entry with push button start are among the amenities available on the Fronx. It also has up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, and parking sensors.
