Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV to be available in a single top-spec variant
Maruti Suzuki recently started bookings for its Toyota Innova Hycross-based MPV, the Invicto, in India. Now, details about its variant and colour have come into light. While the Innova Hycross is offered in a range of variants, the Maruti Invicto will be available in a single variant with only strong hybrid powertrain. Notably, Maruti Suzuki will launch the Invicto in the country. Prospective customers can reserve the MPV either by visiting any nearest Nexa dealership or the official Nexa website for Rs 25,000.
Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Variant and Colour
The new Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be available in a single Alpha+ variant with a seven-seat layout option. However, it is not clear whether the carmaker will introduce additional variants or continue with the Alpha+. In comparison, the Toyota Innova Hycross is offered in six variants, namely G, GX, VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O). Further, the customers can now book only the Nexa Blue (Celestial) shade of the MPV. Other colour options are likely to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Features
Although Maruti has not revealed the feature list of the Invicto, we expect it to come with all the bells and whistles as the range-topping Innova Hycross. Hence it is safe to say that the Invicto will get a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, powered opening/closing of the boot, ventilated front seats, powered ottoman seats with leg support, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a nine-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer, auto-dimming IRVM, digital instrument cluster, eight-way powered driver seat with memory settings, dual-zone climate control (front and rear rows), connected car tech with smartwatch connectivity, six airbags, and USB fast charging ports, among others. Also on offer the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Powertrain
Powering the Maruti Suzuki Invicto 1,987cc, inline four-cylinder petrol engine paired with Toyota's fifth-gen hybrid system. The combined power output of the strong hybrid system is rated at 183.7PS. Mated to this powertrain is e-CVT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, upon launch, the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto will rival the Toyota Innova Hycross, Toyota Innova Crysta, and Kia Carens.
