Maruti Suzuki Invicto receieves over 6,000 bookings
Maruti Suzuki has received over 6,000 bookings for its new Invicto in India. The MPV was launched yesterday in the country with prices starting at Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The Invicto is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross and features its strong hybrid powertrain. Meanwhile, it is also available on lease, where customers can own the Invicto via Maruti Suzuki Subscribe with monthly subscription prices starting at Rs 61,680.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Variants and colours
Maruti offers the Invicto in a choice of three variants, namely Zeta+ (seven-seat), Zeta+ (eight-seat), and Alpha+ (seven-seat). Apart from that, it comes in four different colour shades, such as the signature Nexa Blue (Celestial), Stellar Bronze, Mystic White, and Majestic Silver.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Design and interior
The Invicto features distinctive design elements to distinguish it from the Toyota Innova Hycross. To start with, Maruti has given it with to such as new headlamps and daytime running lights, a redesigned grille with two parallel horizontal bars, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels, and revised taillights.
The new upholstery with champagne gold inserts are the highlight of the cabin. Having said that, the Invicto bears features identical to the Innova Hycross, such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and seven-inch MID with analogue cluster.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Features
Other features include a panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat with memory settings, a dual-zone temperature control, ventilated front seats, electronic parking brake, cooled cup holders, smartwatch connectivity and Alexa compatibility, powered boot opening, 360deg camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and front and rear parking sensors.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Powertrain
The Maruti Invicto gets the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a strong hybrid system. Linked to an e-CVT automatic transmission, this powertrain generates a combined power output of 186PS. It is to be noted that this hybrid system claims to return a fuel economy of 23.24kmpl.
