Maruti Suzuki Nexa celebrates 8-year anniversary

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced the 8-year anniversary of the Nexa premium dealerships. Nexa's brand identity was created in 2015, and in only eight years, Nexa has grown to over 20 lakh clients and has over 460 showrooms in over 280 locations throughout India.

Nexa was introduced alongside the launch of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Baleno. Nexa now offers eight vehicles on the market, including the Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz, XL6, Grand Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, and the latest of the lot is the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. You can read more about the Incvicto here.

According to the firm, Nexa's contribution to overall Maruti Suzuki sales has increased significantly, from 5 percent in the first year of operations in 2015 to over 31 percent in Q1 FY23-24.

The brand crossed the 20 lakh unit sales milestone in July 2023. Meanwhile, the 10 lakh sales milestone was reached in 2019, with the 15 lakh level set to be reached in 2021. Nexa has established three pillars for creating distinctive and new experiences, according to Maruti Suzuki: Nexa Music, Nexa Lifestyle, and Nexa Journeys.

In all fairness, the Nexa brand isn't just marketed as a premium sub-brand but also offers more than the regular Maruti Suzuki cars. The Grand Vitara has powerful hybrid technology, while the Jimny has Suzuki's AllGrip Pro 4WD system.
