Mercedes Benz India is diversifying their EV portfolio and the EQA is set to be added to the lineup very soon. We know for sure now that the EQA that will be launched will be the 250+ variant and will be the new entry-level EV for Mercedes in India.

Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+: Design and Dimensions

The EQA, which will be positioned below the EQB in the brand's India portfolio, is an electrified version of the ICE-powered A-Class. The EQA first debuted back in 2021 and the car got an update in 2023. The facelifted car will be the one that will be on its way to India. The EQA is 4,463mm long, 1,834 wide and 1,624 tall

The design has a blanked-off grille with an LED light bar on top, dual-tone bumpers, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The EQA looks more crossover than SUV which will make it more affordable than the EQB. The EQA will be available with a set of 19-inch AMG alloy wheels. At the rear, there's a full-width light bar much like the one on the EQB.

Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+: Colours

The EQA will be available in India in 7 exterior shades that include 2 Manufaktur paints - Mountain GreyMagno and Patagonia Red. The other colours on offer are Spectral Blue, Polar White, High-tech Silver, Cosmos Black and  Mountain Grey

Globally, the EQA comes in four trims: EQA 250, EQA 250+, EQA 300 4Matic, and EQA 350 4Matic. The EQA 250+ model is the one that will be made available and is the only one that uses a 70.5kWh battery with a range of up to 560km (WLTP). The other variants use a slightly smaller 66.5kWh battery pack.

The car puts out 190PS and 385Nm of torque, can sprint from a standstill to 100kmph in 8.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 160kmph. Mercedes also claims that using a 100kW DC charger, the EQA can go from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.

Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+: Interior and Features

On the inside, the EQA's dash is largely a carryover from the GLA.
