Mercedes-Benz showcases the AMG GT 6 concept car at NMACC in Mumbai
Mercedes-Benz India has showcased its innovative super sports concept vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo, at Mumbai's Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). This extremely futuristic-looking concept will be on exhibit at the Cultural Centre until May 2024, and visitors may interact with a video of the car using a QR Code provided there.
Mercedes-Benz partnered with the NMACC in October last year to provide its clients with unique experiences in the fields of art, culture, fashion, and luxury. The Vision Maybach 6 Coupe was the first of the cars to be on display at the cultural centre and was on display for 3 months.
The AMG GT 6 concept looks just as extraordinary as the Vision Maybach 6 Coupe, if not more. The vehicle's long bonnet flows into a compact greenhouse offset to the back. The angled headlights, with their color scheme and resolute appearance, give a sense of sportiness and eagerness to move forward.
The most notable element is the radiator grille, which is a recreation of the broad Mercedes-Benz sports car grille with a center star. Its design is evocative of the iconic 300 SL race car from 1952. The car's grille, however, is entirely made up of LEDs rather than traditional louvres.
Mercedes AMG haven't dived much into the car's mechanical details but have only revealed that the when ready for production, the AMG GT 6 will produce 585PS and 800Nm of torque.
Lance Bennett, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India commented, "Mercedes-Benz is the most desirable luxury brand, and our vehicles are inspired from a blend of sensual design and future technologies. Mercedes-AMG GT 6 accentuates our hallmark design philosophy, evoking emotions through its styling. With this vehicle we reiterate the desirability and exclusivity that is core to our brand, inspiring discerning customers and brand enthusiasts, world over. The Cultural Centre, with its exclusive and modern ambience, is the perfect place to showcase this top-end futuristic concept car in India. We are glad to witness the ecstatic response and intrigue our concept cars are creating from our customers and enthusiasts, be it the Vision Maybach 6, the Concept EQG, and now the AMG GT 6."
