MG Cyberster power figures revealed ahead of India launch
The MG Cyberster is all set for launch in January 2025 and the company has revealed its power figures ahead of the launch. The MG Cyberster will feature a dual-motor setup with 8-layer flat wire winding and waterfall oil-cooling system.
The dual-motor setup pushes a good 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of peak torque. The motor draws power from a 77 kWh battery with a claimed range of 580 Km, the company also claims 0-100 km dash in just 3.2 seconds. There is a single motor unit as well which is offered in the international market that pushes 312 PS and 475 Nm, whether it will be offered in India is a question that will be answered at the launch in January 2025.
The suspension setup for the India-bound MG Cyberster includes a front double wishbone setup for the front section and five-link independent suspension unit for the rear. It also gets a 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution for superior handling and stability.
The feature list includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a Bose sound system, retractable sunroof, electrically adjustable ventilated seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel and dual-zone climate control to name a few. The safety kit includes ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, and multiple airbags.
The exterior features include scissor doors with built-in Dual-Radar sensors, diamond-cut alloy wheels, arrow-shaped tail lamps, sleek LED headlamp unit, a split intake up front, and a retractable roof to name a few.
The MG Cyberster will be available as a Completely Built Unit(CBU) and will be sold via the MG Select retail channel for the company's premium offering. The MG Cyberster launch is set for January 2025 and we can expect a sticker price north of Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
