MG Windsor EV Design

According to a statement from MG, the 'AeroGlide' design focuses on aerodynamics, which not only enhances the performance of the Intelligent CUV but also ensures a smooth and refined ride for all occupants. The Windsor EV is essentially a re-badged version of the Wuling Cloud EV. The crossover MPV features a distinctive design with smooth surfaces. Key highlights include 18-inch alloy wheels, door-mounted ORVMs, full-length LED light bars at both ends, LED headlights, and flush door handles.

MG Windsor EV Interior & Features

Last week, MG revealed that the EV will come equipped with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system called the Grandview display. This display will feature a quick access panel for system settings, vehicle controls, a temperature control menu, and music. It will also support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and MG is expected to include a voice assistant with regional language support.

Additionally, the Windsor EV could feature a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, an all-digital instrument cluster, a blind-spot monitor, a powered tailgate, a wireless charging pad, USB Type-C ports, connected car technology, telematics, TPMS, six airbags, ESP, traction control, VSM, ABS with EBD, and more.

MG Windsor EV Powertrain

The India-spec model may be powered by either a 50.6kWh or 37.9kWh battery pack, offering a range of 460km and 360km, respectively. A front axle-mounted electric motor generates 136PS and 200Nm of torque when paired with the larger battery pack. The EV can be charged from 30 to 100 percent in half an hour using a DC charger. The Windsor EV is expected to be priced between Rs 16-22 lakh.
