Mini India introduces Miniscape programme
Mini India has introduced a new initiative for its customers called Miniscape, offering weekend driving experiences to various parts of across India. Registration for this experience is now open at Mini showrooms nationwide. Miniscape will be organised through Mini's dealer network, with the locations carefully selected to include some of the most scenic destinations in India.
The brand says Miniscape reflects the essence of its "Big Love" philosophy, offering a weekend journey that starts and ends at a specific location. This curated experience follows pre-selected scenic routes and includes a combination of accommodations, entertainment, and trying local food. Upon registration, participants will receive detailed route maps in advance, with Mini marshals leading the way and providing route guidance.
Mini has nine showrooms in India: Bird Automotive (Delhi NCR), Bavaria Motors (Pune), EVM Autokraft (Kochi), Gallops Autohaus (Ahmedabad), Infinity Cars (Mumbai), Krishna Automobiles (Chandigarh), KUN Exclusive (Chennai), KUN Exclusive (Hyderabad), and KUN Exclusive (Bengaluru).
In other news, Mini recently introduced the new Cooper S three-door at Rs 44.80 lakh (ex-showroom) alongside the new Countryman EV at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Cooper S is powered by a 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that makes 204PS and 300Nm. It can reach to 100kmph from a standstill in just 6.6 seconds. On the other hand, the Countryman EV gets a 66.4kWh battery pack paired with a single front-wheel drive motor that delivers 204PS and 250Nm of torque. Notably, it has a WLTP range of up to 462km. In terms of charging, the EV can be charged from 10-80 per cent in a claimed 29 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger.
