MRF MoGrip FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2015: KP Aravind wins MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore

TVS Racing rider KP Aravind won the second round of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2015 at Coimbatore. The Mangalore rider finished first in the Class 1 category, beating team-mate and overall runner-up R Nataraj by 16 minutes.

The MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore was flagged off from the Andal Kalyana Mandapam on Trichy Road at 7:30am on July 19, 2015. 32 out the 38 motorcycle racers participating across eight categories were able to complete the race, with only six dropping out due to mechanical failures.

VS Naresh who rode in the Class 4 (Group B, M3 & M4: 4 stroke motorcycles, 166 to 260cc) category was declared third overall.

Commenting on his experience of the race, KP Aravind said, "It was a well organised event and we appreciate the hospitality. The terrain was enjoyable to ride on and it was challenging as well."
