Ather Energy is set to unveil its new Rizta electric scooter on 6 April, 2024. This family-focused e-scooter has already been teased and even spotted testing on multiple occasions. It is claimed to get the largest-ever seat compared to any ICE or EV scooter available in the market. That said, the company recently announced that it would showcase the Rizta on its Ather Community Day 2024, though the specific date was not disclosed.

Ather Rizta: Design

Ather's new electric scooter is likely to primarily emphasise practicality, usability, and space. As per previous spy shots, the Rizta will stand out with its distinct and conservative design language. Additionally, the e-scooter is expected to be larger in dimensions compared to the 450 scooter lineup, featuring a sizable footboard and a large seat. In fact, the brand claims that the Rizta will come with the largest-ever seat fitted to any scooter to date. Ather is also expected to provide a more extensive under-seat storage, surpassing the 22-litre boot space of the 450X.

Ather Rizta: Features

The Rizta electric scooter is likely to feature an all-digital display, similar to the 450X or 450S, along with all-LED lighting, ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, single disc setup at both ends, telescopic front forks, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and fall-safe technology, among others.

Ather Rizta: Range, Battery, and Charging

Presently, the brand offers the 450 lineup with two battery pack options: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh, depending on the model. In contrast, the new Rizta electric scooter is expected to include a larger battery pack with a longer range compared to the existing Ather scooters. Despite this, it may not be as performance-oriented as the 450X or 450 Apex.

New Ather Rizta: Pricing

The Rizta is expected to be priced between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh. Upon launch, the electric scooter will compete with models such as the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Hero Vida V1.
