New car discounts for March 2016

After the 2016 Union Budget was announced, most car manufacturers have hiked prices across their model line-up. Overall, prices have been hiked across makes and models by around three to five per cent. However, some 2016 models continue to be offered by dealers with attractive benefits including cash discounts and exchange bonus. To make things easier, we have compiled a list of the discounts being offered currently across makes and models. The discounts will vary from dealer to dealer and across cities.

Chevrolet

Beat

On the petrol and diesel variants a cash discount of Rs 27,000 and Rs 32,000 are being offered respectively. By trading in your existing vehicle you can get an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.

Sail

Across variants and trims, dealers are offering a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.

Enjoy

A cash discount of Rs 7,500 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 are up for grabs.

Fiat

Punto Evo, Avventura and Linea

Showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 across the petrol and diesel variants of all three models.

Hyundai

Eon

Thinking of going for Hyundai's small car? You can avail of a Rs 25,000 cash discount along with an exchange bonus Rs 10,000.

i10

On the slow selling i10, a cash discount of Rs 27,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 is being offered.

Grand i10

On the petrol and diesel variants, a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 are being offered respectively. Additionally, an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 is being offered on both variants.

Xcent

A cash discount of Rs 17,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 are being offered across variants and trims.

Verna

On the Verna, a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 are being offered.

Elantra 

On its executive sedan, Hyundai dealers are offering a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000.

Santa Fe

This Hyundai SUV is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000.

Maruti

Alto 800

Buyers can avail of a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.

Alto K10

A cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 are being offered.

Celerio

On the petrol manual transmission version, a cash discount of Rs 5,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 are being offered. On the petrol AMT version a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 are being offered. The diesel variant is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.

Swift

On all variants, a cash discount of Rs 5,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 are up for grabs.

Swift Dzire

On the petrol version, there's a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. On the diesel version, there's a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.

Wagon R

On the manual transmission version, a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 are being offered. On the AMT version, you can get a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000.

Nano

On the manual transmission variant, a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 are being offered. On the automatic variant, a Rs 15,000 cash discount and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 are up for grabs. On the CNG version, you can get a bigger Rs 35,000 cash rebate and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.

Bolt

On both petrol and diesel variants, Tata dealers are offering an attractive cash discount of Rs 45,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.

Zest

On its compact sedan, there's a cash discount as well as an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 being offered. That's a total benefit of Rs 40,000.

Toyota

Corolla Altis

Across variants and trims, you can avail of a cash discount of Rs 10,000.

Etios and Etios Liva

Toyota dealers are offering a cash rebate of Rs 15,000 on both petrol and diesel versions.

Fortuner

On Toyota's SUV, you can get a cash discount of Rs 20,000.

Innova

Toyota has just discontinued production of the current-generation Innova and dealers are offering a cash discount of Rs 50,000.
