New Chevrolet Cruze coming on June 29
GM is coming out with a new Cruze on June 29. The updated car will have a 164PS engine (up from 150PS) with 380Nm (up from 323Nm) of torque at disposal. This engine is mated to an all-new 6-speed manual/automatic transmission. The new Cruze will have improved driveability, linear power delivery and the most important part â" increase in fuel efficiency. These claims will be verified once we put the new car through the rigours of our OVERDRIVE road test.
There are minor revisions to the exteriors like the new fog lamps, the Chevy badge being pushed a tad higher on the bonnet and choice of new design alloy wheels. The interior revisions will include more cubby holes and two-tone upholstery. GM is expected to price the new Cruze between Rs 12-16 lakh.
