New Citroen C3 Aircross launched; prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh
French automaker Citroen has launched the new C3 Aircross SUV in India with prices starting from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival also open today and customers can reserve their SUV either by visiting either La Maison Citroen dealerships or the official Citroen India website. for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Notably, the brand will commence deliveries of the C3 Aircross 15 October this year. Meanwhile, Citroen has achieved 90 per cent localisation for its new offering in the country.
New Citroen C3 Aircross: Powertrain and fuel economy
Powering the new C3 Aircross SUV is 1.2-litre, inline three-cylinder turbocharged petrol Puretech engine generating 110PS at 5,500rpm and 190Nm of torque from 1,750rpm. This motor comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. With this, the C3 Aircross claimes to return an ARAI mileage of 18.5kmpl.
New Citroen C3 Aircross: Variants and Colours
The carmaker offers the new C3 Aircross with a choice of three variants: You, Plus, and Max, across five- and seven-seater layouts. It is available with a range of single- and dual-tone colour options, including Polar White, Platinum Grey, Cosmo Blue, and Steel Grey. Whereas, the dual-tone shades are Polar White with Platinum Grey roof, Platinum Grey with Polar White roof, Cosmo Blue with Polar White roof, Polar White with Cosmo Blue roof, Steel Grey with Polar White roof, and Steel Grey with Cosmo Blue roof.
New Citroen C3 Aircross: Dimensions and boot space
The SUV measures 4,323mm in length, 1,796mm in width, and 1,665mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,671mm. The boot space of the C3 Aircross measures 444 litres and 511 litres with folded third-row seats. This can be further extended up to 830 litres. Meanwhile, its ground clearance stands at 200mm.
New Citroen C3 Aircross: Highlights
The new C3 Aircross SUV boasts various features including auto start/stop, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist (HAS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless mirroring for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, The seven-inch fully digital TFT instrument cluster, and USB ports, among others.
